Module 1

The Therapeutic Massage Therapy Programme introduces students to the rationales, guidelines, etiquette, and industry standards of professional practice. It emphasizes preparation and professional foundations, ensuring learners are equipped with the knowledge and skills to enter the field confidently. Core areas include anatomy and physiology, IT and office procedures, and the essentials of preparation and etiquette.

Students then progress into practical training, where they develop competence in advanced massage mechanics, advanced Swedish massage, site-specific massage, and therapeutic massage therapy. These techniques form the backbone of therapeutic practice and prepare graduates to work effectively in diverse settings.

To broaden their expertise, students may choose from elective courses that provide specialized skills. Options include event sports massage, reflexology, and geriatric massage, each designed to expand professional scope and meet the needs of specific populations.
