The Medical Massage Practitioners (MMP) Programme represents the pinnacle of HCTI’s professional training pathway. Designed for experienced massage therapists, it develops advanced clinical assessment, rehabilitation strategies, and evidence-based treatment approaches for working with complex medical and rehabilitative conditions.
Students refine the knowledge, clinical judgement, and professional confidence required to collaborate effectively within healthcare settings while delivering the highest standards of therapeutic massage practice.

✓ Physio-Technology (limited mobility/bedridden)
Elective:
✓ Electrophysical Agents (EPAs)
✓ Myofascial Therapy (STM)
✓ Palliative/ Hospice (terminal illness)
Continuing Education units (CEUs):
✓ Myotherapy
✓ Structural / Osteopathy
✓ Medical Hydrotherapy
✓ Lymphatic Massage etc.

Applicants are required to be nationals of Trinidad and Tobago or residents of CARICOM, in good health, demonstrating decency of character, and in good standing with the laws of Trinidad and Tobago. Applicants must meet the following criteria:
- Holder of CVQ level 3, or Advance Diplomas in Massage Therapy.
The above prerequisite is required to ensure that all students are able to benefit from this program.

The following supporting documents must be available for our perusal when submitting your application:
Non-Nationals: (originals and copies) of academic certificates, valid passport, birth certificate, and passport-sized photo.
Nationals: (originals and copies) of academic certificates, Trinidad and Tobago identification card or valid Trinidad and Tobago passport, birth certificate, and passport-sized photo.
Duration:
4 semesters (24 months)
- 16 months of study
- 8 months of internship

Twice weekly
Program Fees
- Registration Fee: TTD $500.00 (non-refundable, due at enrollment)
- Tuition: TTD $20,000.00 (covers study phase + internship)
